RPM has added a brand new high-energy finishing machine to our fleet of processing equipment
Recently, we purchased and installed a new high-energy finishing machine into our facility, the Model HZ-60 manufactured by Mass Finishing, Inc. This full-sized industrial finishing machine has four barrels mounted on a rotating turret to deburr any metal, acrylic, or rubber components quickly and efficiently.
During operation, each of the machine’s barrels remain in a fixed position at a one-to-one ratio. As they rotate, reaching speeds well over 200 rpm, the tumbling media and the parts collide, producing a smooth, unmatched finish on the parts.
This model is designed for improved efficiency, including easier loading and unloading, and an option for media separating to easily remove the media from the barrels once finishing is complete. All of these factors will allow Rapid Precision to improve our workflow and efficiency, as well as the quality of finished products that we deliver to our customers.
