A Quarter Century of Excellence
Rapid Precision Machining was founded in 1997 in Britton, South Dakota, by David Koeppe and Lars Lyngaas. David and Lars started the company to provide contract precision CNC turning and milling services to those needing precision manufacturing.
Our first projects consisted of turning parts on Haas and Hyundai CNC turning equipment and milling parts on Haas CNC milling equipment. As our company has grown, we’ve sought new challenges and invested in new technologies, ultimately expanding into Swiss turning, Multi-Axis machining, and Horizontal milling services. This has helped us to become a more well-rounded, single-source manufacturing company.
RPM specializes in CNC turning and Swiss turning with a secondary focus on milling operations. Our ideal project entails medium to high complexity machining work with 2,500 to 5,000 parts weekly.
Typical Projects, Outstanding Results
Our typical clients come from several industries, from automotive to industrial, sporting goods to firearms, and beyond. Typical projects include machined components for clutches, filters, fittings, firearms, bolts, spacers, and industrial lift components. However, we are open to discussing any manufacturing project you might have.
